Minions are organized into 7 Tavern Tiers. In the early game (Tiers 1–4), minions mainly serve to save your health while you look for direction. The minions that truly define your composition start appearing at Tavern Tier 5. Don't commit too early — wait until you find your core cards, then build around them. Each minion belongs to one of 10 tribes (or is neutral), and some of the strongest builds combine multiple tribes. Tavern Spells are purchased alongside minions and provide buffs, economy, or board effects.
