The core of this build is Felhorn combined with Silky Shimmermoth. Felhorn's Battlecry gives your Beasts and Demons +1/+2 and deals 1 damage to them, twice. Every time Shimmermoth takes damage, all your Beetles gain +2/+1 permanently (golden: +4/+2). With golden Brann, a single Felhorn Battlecry deals 6 damage to Shimmermoth — that is +12/+6 to every Beetle per proc (golden Shimmermoth: +24/+12).
The engine is golden Rylak Metalhead positioned between Felhorn and Shimmermoth. Golden Rylak is critical — its Deathrattle triggers the Battlecry of both adjacent minions, firing Felhorn's Battlecry again. Monstrous Macaw's Rally triggers Rylak's Deathrattle on attack without Rylak dying. Golden Titus Rivendare triples all Deathrattle procs. With golden Macaw (Windfury + Reborn from Sprightly Scarab), golden Titus, golden Rylak with Reborn, and golden Brann — a single combat produces 30+ Felhorn procs, scaling every Beetle by +360/+180 or more per turn. This stacks permanently.
Beetles are summoned through Deathrattles — Shimmermoth, Buzzing Vermin, Forest Rover, and Runed Progenitor all spawn Beetles on death. Titus multiplies these spawns. The spell Boon of Beetles summons two additional Beetles in combat. Every Beetle that enters the board inherits all accumulated buffs from the entire game.
Parallel scaling channels stack on top of Shimmermoth. Forest Rover's Battlecry gives Beetles +2/+1 (tripled by golden Brann) — cycle it through buy-sell in the 7th board slot. Turquoise Skitterer's Deathrattle gives Beetles +5/+5, multiplied by Titus. Runed Progenitor's Avenge gives Beetles +3/+2 during combat. All of these stack with Shimmermoth's scaling simultaneously.
Eyes of the Earth Mother (Tier 6 spell) can golden Felhorn, Rylak, or Macaw — all are Tier 4 or below. For extra speed, place a second Felhorn next to Rylak so golden Rylak procs both, or add a second Shimmermoth — but this locks a board slot and selling a Tier 6 is costly.
Note: Silky Shimmermoth was nerfed in patch 35.0.3 — Beetle scaling reduced from +2/+2 to +2/+1 per damage. The build still works but scales Health slower than before, making you more vulnerable in early combat rounds.
In the endgame, replace the scaling engine with Beetle spawners — minions with Deathrattle: Summon Beetles — and keep Titus Rivendare. Your Beetles carry hundreds of permanent stats, and every spawner multiplied by Titus floods the board with massive tokens.
